Have you drank yourself straight?? Fact or Fiction?!

Question:

Have you drank yourself straight?? Fact or Fiction?

Has anyone drank so much alcohol they begin to sober up. or is this a myth?

Answers:
Well I know for a fact that I used to do this at Ohio State but you just keep drinking and not drink so much at any one time that you begin to lose it! That will kill you!

You have to remember that you start loosing the "alcoholic effect" at the rate of one ounce of alcohol an hour once you stop drinking.

GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know someone who said that he knew someone who was able to do this. I find it hard to believe. There is a known fact of drug tolerance where your body become accustom to a certain level of drugs. So..... I guess theoretically your could increase your tolerance while drinking to the point where your would become more sober but it seems more likely that you would die first.

Its a Myth, you'll pass out before you sober up

I have personally done this. It's basically just a matter of switching from stronger drinks to softer drinks, slowing down, and getting something to eat.

...i drink when hungoover to sober up - withdrawl symptons make me NEED a drink , which ., yes , sobers me up or rather makes me feel normal.....but if i keep boozing i definitely will get sloshed all over again

I did it once. But I was drinking from 10am to 2am the next day. I think that me sobering up towards the end was probably just me slowing down my consumption, giving my body enough time to process the alcohol. Also, if you do something for too long, you start to build a tolerance or immunity to it. After awhile, I just couldn't get a buzz (that particular day). It kind of just went away.

I think it is a myth. I have drank so much back in the day that I would pass out and wake up still buzzed in the morning.

fact i did this once.. i drank so much and fell asleep and was woke up 20 minutes later and was sober.. i was so pissed off
