Does booze ruin your memory?!

Question: I know while drinking you can black out and not remember things the next day, and even if your not drinking to an extent of blacking out it can be hard to remember some things that went on but can drinking every other day for a week or so ruin your long term memory? Example: After exams let out we had a week and a bit off and I went out with my friends almost every night and to parties and whatnot and I drank to the point where I vomited and blacked out almost every time we drank (I know, I need to handle my liquor a bit better) and I'm finding it hard to remember even the sober days.

like drugs, booze can mess you up, including your memory.
so you shouldn't drink to excessively on a regular basis.

yes, booze can mess you up...oh, uh i forgot i already answered.

Booze has ruined a couple of my best shirts but I think my memory was fried to begin with.

If you are blacking out you are going way over the top and that sounds dangerous. I find that these days, drinking enough to get drunk isn't worth the toxic shock to my system.

Well u know i drink alot its dangours i mix everything with alcohol and i have some problems remembering sh!t but than u just gotta stop drinking for a week than maby when u feel up to it u can drink more

One week of heavy drinking won't kill your brain, but it will eventually catch up with you if you keep doing it regularly.

yes i think it can ruin your memory. i even think it could give you Alzheimer's or mental problems when you get older if you turn into a drunk. but this is just my opinion i have no proof on this.
