Johnnie... Actually alot of wine uses 'isinglass' to filter the wine. This can consist of fish swim bladders to filter, and geletine. So not all wine is vegetarian.

wineries use gelatine, egg whites, bull's blood and other such traditional methods to fine & filter their wines. If you are really concerned, look for wines that indicate 'unfiltered' on their label - Jacob's Creek is not one of them.
