Really, is there anything better than Montrachet in a good year?!

Question: Montrachet is a terrific wine. I love it!
But for the price of only one bottle I can buy 2 - 4 bottles of excellent Zinfandel. Red, of course!

I am a former chef and one time member of the French Trade Unions wine society in Toronto Canada, and Montrachet is one white that has very few bad years, as it is a premier area and growth, unless they have a drought and the grape are of poor quality, but stressed vine usually produce a btter vintage, this is more true for reds.

I like the late 90's vintages and am partial to a Rhone Valley one called Vouvray.
