What's your favorite cold weather spirit?!

Question: What do you drink to warm your insides in the winter?

Lately, I've been sipping Knob Creek bourbon neat or with bitters and vermouth in a Manhattan.

I agree. Whiskey is nice when it's chilly although I prefer the Irish and Scotch varieties. Whiskey also travels nicely in a flask when it's cold out.

Cognac

White Zinfandel!

Here in Southern WV, there's a local store that sells homemade cider that is just about as good as any alcoholic drink I've ever tasted, and it's great warm, too.

Heineken

Hot Butter Rum at the ski lodge or Blackberry Brandy when I'm ice fishing. Schnapps warms the belly also.

My girlfriend loves manhattans made with Jim Beam in the winter.
