Is there any red wines that dont taste bitter, but rather sweet instead?!

Question: It seems to me that white wines usually have a sweeter taste while red wine are bold and bitter. Are there any out there that are sweet and almost taste like a berry juice? Also can anyone recommend me a variety of different red wines that are perfec to age? And by aging a red wine does it become sweeter?

Tannic is the word you're looking for, not bitter ... you know, that dry feeling you get on your tongue when drinking cabernet or zinfandel. Try a pinot noir (King Estate from Oregon is my fave), they're smoother. I can't think of any real wine that tastes like berry juice, and most sweet wines are white.

Oh, and Arbor Mist is really just spiked fruit juice ... good for a day by the pool, but that's about it.

Wild Vines or Arbor Mist Blackberry Merlot. They are both sweet and delicious. I like either one.

Elysium Black Muscat is an amazing red dessert wine. the grapes are left on the vines for much longer allowing sugars to develop further, as well as a fungus called Botrytis which further enhances the sweetness.

it can be quite expensive but it's well worth it.

There are plenty of sweet red wines:

Zinfandel
Moscato
Chianti
Beajolais
Dolcetto
Lambrusco

Wineries from around the world make all of the above styles of wine. Alternatively, you could try wine made not from grapes but other fruits, they are harder to find but tend to be on the sweeter side.

Aging wine does not tend to make it sweeter, it usually makes them less so as the residual sugars are consumed by the microbiological aging processes in the bottle. Eventually wines become sour as acetic acid builds up.

I am also a big fan of Arbor Mist Blackberry Merlot. It's sweet and berry-like, yet has the spice and bite of a merlot. I was a big fan of Riunite Lambrusco until I discovered it.

sangria, its sweet and i can drink it (tho i dont like wine)
