How to make dry ice?!

Question:

How to make dry ice?

does anyone know how to make dry ice? if so please post something that tells you how to do it.

Answers:
You cant. Dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide. It has to get down to -109 degrees farenheit. Thats way colder than any freezer!Just go buy some. Its pretty cheap at a party supply store or a caterer, and you can choose the amount you want!

I don't know if it's something you can really make in your home unless you're a chemist or something. It's kinda complicated from what I remember from chemistry class in high school. If you are wanting it for a party or something you should buy it online because I don't think you can make it.

First you need some carbon dioxide. Same stuff you exhale when breathing. Then you need to cool it to -109.3 degrees F or -78.5C. Then you compress it until it liquifies. It will flash from a gas to a liquid and freeze.

dont know but if i put dry ice in the tub can i have a bath without getting wet ??????????????

You've got to be able to chill carbon dioxide to a very low temperature under pressure. It's not something you can do without very specialized equipment.

You can't do it at home.
