What is your Favourite brand of Soctch Whisky??!

Question:

What is your Favourite brand of Soctch Whisky??

Answers:
I was lucky enough to be educated at Stirling. Within a few weeks I drank the union bar out of Glenlivet which was a well known top grade malt. The bar keeper, who had been blessed with an incredible insight, put me on to Glenmorangie (rhymes with orange e please) which was at least as good as Glenlivet. The tap water in Stirling is very soft, tastes very peaty and has (or had) a distinctly brown hue. As I didn't read poetry at Stirling, I cannot begin to wax about the combination of either of these two whiskies and the the local tap water but it was good. It was very very good.

Life is too short to drink industrial blended whisky.

whisky jack daniels

Any single malt over 10 years old works for me.

Tend to go for the ones from the glen region though

Being a Scottish girl, it has to be Glayva or Glenfiddich on the rocks.....

Any of the single malts from Islay. Caol Ila or Lagavulin are superb (but all the others worth a try).

glenfiddich

Lagavulin anytime :-)
Never mix it with anything though, it would ruin the taste...

Have a look :

Jack Dennials and johny walker blue lable

It has to be Grouse, but don`t drink anymore.

I enjoy Johnny Walker Blue Label Scotch Whiskey. It's definitely an acquired taste because it's very strong but so good. After a few tastes you will fall in love!

The Gold Label is also very good. Love Johnny Walker! Besides Johnny Walker (and more reasonable price) is Macallan. A nice 12 year old single malt!

I don't now if this is classed as a whisky but i like southern comfort .

glen morange glen fiddech or other malt whiskeys.

A Macallen or Cragganmore, but with whisky I'm a true democrat and they should all be tried and tested and then tried again to make sure

Personally I prefer Irish (no offence) but love Black Bottle (not black label) , Glenfidich, Glanmorangie, Teachers, heck I'll drink pretty much anything. Jamesons is my favourite.

"The Glenlivet" or Laphroig (depends how I'm feeling)

Tell your contributors that Jack Daniels is not a Scotch. Did you know that only Scotch is spelt "whisky"? Everyone else is "whiskey".
