I drink Jager, and it is no Vodka. Your friend is a fool. don't listen it is an old german recipe of different herbs originally used for cough medicine. It is thicker than vodka and more flavorful.

Jager is a German Liquer - herbal in nature but LIKE vodka is a neutral grain spirit by definition. How they come up with the neutral grain spirit is regarding it's base.
Again, Liquer - not like Vodka which is a Liquor. Only similiarity is that it is referred to as a neutral grain spirit.

it is a herbal receipe created in Germany...Very flavorfull. Vodka is made from potatoes and clear distilled to remove impurtities. In the U.S. they both have the same alcohol content
