Home bar suggestions?!

Question: I've been in the process of setting up a home bar for quite some time and I have a lot of staples but I know that I'm leaving some things out. So far I have...

Ketel One vodka
Jose Cuervo (gold)
Patron (anejo and silver)
Jack Daniel's Whiskey
Seagram's VO Canadian Whisky (similar to Crown Royal)
Jagermeister (shut up, I like it!)
Bombay Sapphire Gin
Vermouth
Bacardi Rum
Ten Cane rum
Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum
Kaluha

Any suggestion for things I might be missing?

We did this a few years ago. We actually had a "bar stocking" party. Invited everyone to bring something for our new bar and it was a huge success.

Mixers like tonic, grenadine, sour mix, margarita mix. Get some Smirnoff or lower grade vodka for mixed drinks. Olives, cocktail onions. Bailey's. Always have some beer around for the purists. If I were home I'd run down and look at the bar. We actually made an inventory spreadsheet. I can email it to you if you'd like. Good luck. Its great to have a full bar; we use it a lot.

I would suggest liquers and after dinner drinks like kahlua, Bailey's, Frangico, and Gran Marnier.

Also, if you're into fruity martinis and such, get some raspberry, sour apple, melon, etc. liquers, like Pucker or Mad Melon.

Beer?

my husband the alcoholic says you need to add the following:
Contreau
Triple Sec
Grand Marnier
Some flavored Vodkas for Martini (lemon, pear, vanilla)
Some cordials (chambord, amoretto sp?)
Sweet & Sour Mix (absolute must according to him)
lemon juice
lime juice
bitters
grenadine
Bailey's
Peach Schnapps (to mix in with cocktails)

Oh and p.s. we also have a kegerator too.

Trust me, my husband is the MAN when it comes to bartending at home

1800 tequila, & Cointreau (spell?)
Grey Goose vodka, or Level 1
Crown Royal Whiskey... jd is junk!....
Your bar needs some help, here's a start!

As far as spirits go, I'd recommend the following in addition:
Bailey's Irish Cream
DiSoronno Amaretto
Jameson Irish Whiskey (at least the blend, but I rec. 18 year also)
Scotch...
a high-end blend like Dalmore Cigar Malt, and a single-malt or two, Languvalin, Dalwinnie, etc.
Maker's Mark Bourbon
Brandy or Cognac (or both - top-shelf only)

concerning Vermouth, definitely dry for martinis, etc., but I would get a bottle of sweet red also...

Scotch-Single malt is best , there are several good ones out there.
Coronet Brandy, I know its cheap but I like it.
Wild Turkey
Early Times

you have to have greygoose to make it complete <3

SPIRITS:
Malibu
Bacardi 151
Cachaca
falvored vodka like absolut (kurant, lemon, vanilla) or stoli
Grey goose
Tanqueray/Beefeater
Crown royal
Maker's mark/Jim beam/Wild turkey
Seagrams 7
Glenlivet/Glenfiddich/Macalan/oban (single malt scotch)
Brandy - courvoisier, hennessey, martell, remy martin
Jameson

Liqueurs:
Southern comfort
Campari
Godiva
Bailey's
Midori
Peachtree schnapps
Sloe gin
Chambord
Frangelico
Amaretto
Apple schnapps
Sambuca
Blue curacao/grand marnier/cointreau/triple sec
Alizé
Rumple minze/peppermint schnapps
goldschlagger

Grenadine
Lemon juice
angostura bitters

Champagne
White wine

of course OJ,Cranberry, Grapefruit and Pineapple juice/ coke/7-up/sour mix/soda/Ginger ale/tonic
redbull/whipped cream/Tomato juice Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce for bloody mary

Beers
Coffee?? (Irish coffe, Italian coffee, Keoki coffee...)

I haven't seen Southern Comfort on any list ... don't forget a list of tools, too: wine key, muddler, cocktail stirrer, wine/champagne "plugs", bottle/can opener, shaker(s), garnish picks, and all the different (& fun) kinds of glasses to drink from!!!
