Whats the significance of CHAMPAIGN and brunch?!

Question: :/

I prefer OJ.

Champaign is a sparkling wine made in the Champaign region of France. What most restaurants pass off as Champaign with their brunches isn't worth drinking. (Why else mix it with OJ and call it a Mimosa?)

That said, it is just a way to make people who are paying more for the brunch than it's really worth feel like they aren't overpaying for their brunch.

Just to be fancy, and an excuse to drink before noon.

I prefer OJ too.

It's an excuse for most, not all though, restaurants to charge $20 for eggs, bacon, potaotes and cheap sparkling wine mixed with OJ for breakfast.

mimosa, its champagne and oj.. good bubbly morning drink .. i always manage to have a few too many because the taste is deceiving

It's an excuse to get a buzz in the morning...

and/or...

a way to get rid of your hangover while looking classy and not like an alcoholic :)
