Can a glass of wine count as a serving of fruit in a person's diet?!

Question:

Can a glass of wine count as a serving of fruit in a person's diet?

Answers:
I wish!

no, the amount of fruit is negligible and the content of your wine is alchoholic - no food value.

No.

NO...absolutely not.

wow! i love to put sliced apples in my pinot grigio.

The answer would be NO!! All the juice would have been converted to wine. No vitamins would have survived the fementation process.

Don't think can be counted as a fruit, unless maybe sangria! However the all knowing medical society stated a couple years ago, that 2 glasses of red wine each night was good for the heart. So I bought a blush wine (which is a pink color), and figured since was light shade of red could have 4 glasses each night, seemed to work for me!

there is absolutely no nutritional value in wine. It is about 70 empty calories per 5oz serving. has relatively few carbohydrates. etc. There is nothing in it considered fruit.
