Where I come from it is called "Lurgan Champagne",it seems more Buckfast is drank in that town than anywhere else certainly in Ireland.
The bars have it in glass measures optics.
The price for a big bottle is about ￡4.25,it taste vile and gives the worst hangover ever but it is power-full stuff !
I once worked with a girl who thought her now husband was super man when he was drunk on Buckie,so I guess your final statement may be also be correct !lol
Buckfast on its own is called Lurgan Champagne or at least it has been in the 25 years or so since I have been drinking in the bars around Lurgan !

Alarge bottle is ￡5.50 and a small one is ￡3. 50, and lurgan champagne is buckfast and cider mixed.
about ￡5 but eurgh dont drink it, it tastes like month old unwashed socks
depends were u go , but i would say that the averge price is small : 2.45 and big is about 4.60

Its bout ￡5.20 for big bottle, and it is called Lurgan Champagne..... And I'm not even from lurgan! Would also love to know where everyone is buying it so cheap, my boyfriend drinks loads of it and would save a fortune!
