Can anyone name a few good beers from japan? do any of them taste like beer from the U.S.?!

Question: Info on "Happosho" and reviews of them:

then there is "Japanese Rice Lager" which is similar to the macro beer of the US (ie bud, miller, coors), more of a dry finish perhaps. Sapporo falls into this category and is Japan's largest brewer, ie it's the Bud of Japan. Also note most Sapporo sold in North America is brewed by Sapporo's brewery in Canada, not at Sapporo's own breweries in Japan.

I'd say try looking for Koshihikari Echigo Beer:

Sapporo is good

Sapporo, Kirin Ichiban, Asahi. They are better than the average Bud Light.

No they dont really taste too much like US beer but close
little stronger taste i think

Sapporo, Kirin
and my fave is

Asahi Super Dry

Yeah, I agree with James. Sake is their specialty and many argue that Sake is a type of beer by the way it is produced. The only ones I know of are the ones that are already named. Nobody named Suntory, or Woah though.

Orion, it's from Okinawa
I recentlly found it in a grocery store here
it was super cheap and really good
it's a light beer with a good flavor
also, has an awesome label!
