It is the same people that are making it illegal to smoke in a pub. They are not happy in their lives so they try to make sure you are not happy in yours either. I know that there are lives that alcohol has ruined, but their are lives that the stock market has ruined as well, no body cries about that...
Because they are obnoxious dorks trying to push their own agenda instead of letting people be themselves. You will find the same with some vegans/vegetarians and religious types.

I have to say that I feel kind of sorry for them. Something very bad must of happened to them to cause their negative reactions. What they don't realize is that 99% of drinkers aren't ruining their or others lives with their moderate consumption.

For the same reason meat eaters preach in the vegetarian section. They are doing one of two things.
a. preaching and pushing their beliefs on us
b. trying to piss people off.
