Try making your own. You know exactly what goes into it then, and it's so easy.

Just read the label. Government regulations require wineries to mark on their labels if the product contains sulphites. There are a number of wineries that do not use sulphites in the production process.

If you are outside of the U.S., you can find it everywhere. Otherwise, I've noticed a lot of the organic wines are sulphite free.

A avoid any wine aged in oak barrels, since sulfur is used to de-nasty them.

and b) if sulfites is an issue with you avoid any wine made by process of yeast, since yeast themselves create SO2.

so maybe you need grape juice ?

in the USA, it is required that all wines be labelled with CONTAINS SULFITES if they have it in them. Generally red wines have more than whites. so try looking for white wine.

And in technicality, suliftes are naturally occuring in wines, so you will never truly find one that doesn't contain them. it is like decaf coffee, still some amount of caffeine in the coffee.

but you will be hard pressed to find anything. I work in the wine industry, primarily dealing wiht California wineries, and I have never seen one in the 10 years I have been in the biz.

Organic wines are your best bet. They must have a certified organic symbol on the labels.
