Should I drink this wine warm or chilled: Fetzer - Gewürztraminer?!

Question: (as a dessert wine)

Answers: (as a dessert wine)

White Wines - always chilled

Red Wines - always warm

Put it in the frig 45-60 minutes before serving, you want it chilled lightly not cold or it loses its spicy overtones.

chilled!

Good choice, I like the Fetzer Gewerztraminer. Do not drink it warm.

Chilled, but not COLD... you've chosen a lovely dessert wine. I also like Fetzer's Johannisberg Riesling. Cheers!

Chilled!! That is my FAVORITE WINE!! I got my whole family loving it. sooo sweet and yum

You can have a glass of wine thats unchilled but then rest of the wine that is leftover needs to be refrigerated after it's been opened.

Gewurztraminer is a white grape so you will want to chill it slightly. Give it about 20 minutes in your fridge and that should be fine. Incidentally, as a dessert wine, it is also always chilled as the chilling enhances the flavours in the wine. Keep in mind that not all dessert wines are chilled - for example, never chill Port or Madeira as it will close down the flavours rather then enhance them.
