Help on what certain liqueurs smell and taste like?!
i hav no idea what they smell or taste like!
i was thinking liqueurs along the lines of
kahlua especiale,amarula,blue curacao,limoncello,goldschlager,sabra liqueur, cloud no.9, aperol, campari and pimm's no.1
i know the list above is alot of liqueurs but i just wanted to know what each of them are like before buying them, because it would be a waste of money if i went and bought one that i would use once.
any replies appreciated, thanks alot

Kuhula- coffee Pimms dry fruity taste amarula creamy whisky liquer much like Baileys but sweeter. Blue curacoa not really any taste
A really nice one to try is called liquer 43, its a Spanish Liquer and it tastes of vanilla its lovely
Why don't you just go to a bar and try them? That way you will know exactly what you like and don't like and a single drink isn't all that expensive.
KAhlua has a coffee flavour
Amarula has a sweet, fruity flavour, with cream added
Limoncello has a syrupy lemon flavour, sweet and not too tart,
Goldschlager has a cinnamon flavour
Liqueurs generally smell like their major flavoring ingredient: coffee for kahlua, orange for curacao, lemons for lemoncello .... There are a couple of websites that will give you clone recipes. Those, incidentally, are a good way to save money. I've compounded most of my liqueurs for years. Just search for "liqueur + recipe".
Salud.
I find most newbies like amaretto. Disaronno is a fine brand to start with. It's a sweet almond liqueur that blends well with fruit juice, especially orange juice. Tastes like a candy drink:)!
Goldschlager is a very strong cinnimon schnapps and it's quite rough if you're not prepared to drink liquid fire...;)
99 Bananas is really good...it's banana flavored vodka and it isn't strong at all. I think that would be good to add to your collection.
Go to your bar and figure it out. If you work in a bar you should know what they taste like and how to describe them!
