The pancreas is the organ that produces the hormone insulin, which regulates blood-sugar concentrations. When it doesn't work right, the person has diabetes.
Pancreatitis is inflammation of this vital organ. Believe me, you don't want to suffer from it-- it is excruciatingly painful. It can be precipitated by surprizingly little alcohol in people with low tolerance to alcohol.
Liver disease is the same way. You don't want that, either, as the liver is what removes toxins from your body.
Remember, moderation in all things; that includes alcohol.

It will take several years, and will lead to diabetes.
pancreatites

sorry dont know for sure
you want this disease?

it will take a long while if you have a healthy live and pancreas, if they are not healthy it wont take as long, its pancreaitis, it means inflamtion of the pancreas

It's an awfully painful disease. If you're showing symptoms, you should stay away from alcohol. This is a problem you never want to have.
