Is "Bonny Doon Vin Gris de Cigare" good? Explain the taste please.?!
Due to the varying combination of blend, the taste can change a bit from year to year. However, I would say that, in general, this is a very floral wine, with herbal bouquet. Its taste tends to be slightly sweet and have a lot of fruit, reminescent of cherry to strawberry to raspberry, with maybe a touch of light spice. When chilled, it is light and easy to drink by itself in summertime. At about $12-15/bottle, it is definitely a bargain and a fun wine to drink.
Answers: Vin Gris de Cigare is a rose made by Bonny Doon. It is a blend typically made from Grenache and Mourvedre but also has Syrah and various other types of grapes. It is actually my favorite rose.
