My male friend is 175lbs., was it safe for him to drive 5 hours after drinking about 6 cans of beet?!

Question: I do realize all people are different. He seemed sober to me? Was I dumb to drive home with him even know he'd been sobering up for 5 hours. We were also outside in the hot sun for most of those 5 hours. Did he sweat it off?

As a general rule one beer per hour is OK. So after none for five hours he should have been fine

I've heard that for every 100 pounds you weigh, you can have one alcoholic drink per hour and not get drunk. So, unless he has a ridiculously low tolerance, or is on any medications that may cause some sort of impairment when mixed with alcohol, I think your decision was fine.

he should be fine.

hes perfectly fine unless he just learned how to drive a car.

but in my opinion. why dont you just drive him?

and i didnt know you could sweat alcohol metabolites out. im not sure, maybe... ?

with tht amount of alchol in his blood I hope he got banned and lost his licence. Think wat accident he could hv caused som other party...... Disgusting I call it

fine

Well well baby...if he had been drinking 6 cans of beer....that is nothing. Alcohol content in beer is low. Do not worry. But if he had taken 6 cans of beet...then he should be quiet normal...as beet are vegetables....It is just that he will never have dinner at all !!! Forget driving...he will drive you home safely.

No matter what you weigh no one should drink and drive. He was putting his life and other people on the roads life in danger.
