i'd like to try to make rum from scratch and then spiced rum. also is that legal to do in the U. S. ? or if any one knows a web site where i can find out the info?

how can i make rum?
It is illegal to make rum in the US. Anything that would concentrate alcohol higher than 14% is illegal.

But it is easy to make spiced rum from scratch.
