Many people who overindulge in theses drinks don't realize how drunk they are getting since the caffeine & other additives mask the symptoms of being intoxicated. When the caffeine high wears off, they crash hard & sometimes get sick or just really tired and wasted.
Answers: People who like overly sweet drinks like the taste, it covers up the taste of cheap vodka. I think it's disgusting, I'd prefer to drink good spirits that don't require sweetness to cover up their taste.

most people drink redbull with regular or flavored vodkas.
or you can do shots usually with redbull and vodka, sometimes rum, and also there are jagerbombs, which are very popular. i've never heard of redbull with beer or whisky, sounds disgusting!
