Alright this weekend instead of Jager [costs too much] we were thinking of going with Bacardi big apple? Anyone have any experience with this drink? is it good? what does it mix well with, any recipes?? would this taste okay...
3oz bacardi big apple rum
1oz apple juice
splash of mountain dew/sprite

I have had Big Apple before, it is good stuff. I don't really know of any recipes for mixed drinks, i usually just drink it straight. plus, big apple is relatively cheap (15$ for a fifth in some places.) the recipe you posted sounds good, maybe replace the apple juice with something else. good luck.
the taste is up to you and your nose. Rum based drinks are for socializing and rarely complement a full meal like a good wine
