A hangover is basically brain dehydration. Drink lots of water and any kind of unsweetened fruit juice or gatorade, take 2 asprin.

Ice-cold Sprite. Spicy food. A few dashes of Bitters in water/Sprite work really well if you have them. These are all surefire ways to ease the pain and start the recovery process. I wouldn't recommend 'hair of the dog', i.e. drinking a beer or two, as can quite easily translate into 'sick as a dog'. Stick with the basics, and rest.

B Vitamins. You can buy a B vitamin complex at the grocery store (B12, etc). Your body heals faster with it. This would be in addition to water (for the dehydration) and some kind of rich food (cheeseburgers are always good) to help replace all of the minerals and nutrients that were destroyed.

Going to the bathroom (#2) also helps clean out the system :)

I don't know how to CURE a hangover, but I know how to prevent them! When you get home after a night of drinking, take 3 Ibuprofen/Advil/Aleeve and drink 2 BIG cups of water...I promise...no hangover tomorrow! :)

Food, it's the only thing that works for me, along with about 3 litres of Lucozade.

Well if you remember before you pass out, drink a big glass of water and take some ibuprofen. The next day I would say to drink alot of fluids and lounge around. Also I'm not sure if this is your type of thing, but smoking definatly helps. It controls the nausea and keeps your mind off of it. When I have **** to do also that really helps because you don't even feel like your hungover.

Your body is dehydrated and the Alcohol has depleted some basic minerals in your body.

Don't drink water, drink Gatorade or Juice. Drinking depletes salt and potassium which is needed for the water to absorb into your body. Water alone will actually dehydrate you more.

Like said above Vitamin B 1 and C are used when Drinking from your body. It is not OK to just take Vit B1 and C alone, but taking it with a Multivitamin will help the balance of absorption. (Multi Vit, 4000mg of C, 100mg B1) Is Ok.

It wont help you this time, but next time, maybe you could just respect beer, and not get drunk like a kid.
