Why are there no cocktails using Dr, Pepper?!

Question:

Why are there no cocktails using Dr, Pepper?

Like Rum and Coke...I think Souther Comfort & Dr. Pepper would be good....

Answers:
if you take half a glass of any beer. take a shot glass and pour in amaretto and top it with 151, light the 151, drop it in the beer, and consume, it tastes like dr pepper. in fact it is more commonly known as a flamming dr pepper.

Dr.Pepper contains sodium dicarbide, which when mixed with an consintation of more than %2.3 alchohal , gives off a very bad taste.

The reason that Dr.Pepper is not good with the mixing game is it's lack of acidity. There are a lot of people who do mix it with SoCo, but it is not a good idea. That is way to much sweet stuff and is bound to make you sick. Sorry, I digress, the lack of acid in Pepsi is the reason that you drink rum and cokes but a rum and pepsi won't do. Same story with Dr.P.

haha, its cuz it already has what?...29 flavors? in that single can

try malibu and dr pepper actually tastes pretty good

Southern comfort and root beer is a common prairie boy first timer. Sweet and easy drinking, most people out grow it by the time they are legal age to drink. never order it in a pub, dead give-a-way for under aged drinkers.

When I was a bartender at Houston's in Dallas, Texas I had a regular customer, male, that drank only Jack Daniels and Dr. Pepper. Never tried it myself, but he drank 2-3 a night.
