Is absolut vodka good for martinis? what about shots??!

Question:

Is absolut vodka good for martinis? what about shots??

and how much does it cost for a big bottle?

Answers:
Absolut is good for both martinis and shots. A good general rule is that high quality liquor is best for drinking straight or on the rocks, but lower-grade liquor is better for mixed drinks (the thinking is that since the liquor is being mixed with other things, you wouldn't be able to tell if it was high quality or not).

However, if you're making mixed drinks with high quality ingredients, by all means use the good stuff.

Yes it's a good vodka for both and should cost about 25 dollars.

It is good, I prefer Grey Goose

around $30.00

Absolute is good, but i've found a few other brands that are slightly more expensive that are better for Martini's ( Absolute will do the job though) I'm a big fan of Armadale, and of Belvedere both are very smooth and crisp, and pack a nice punch without having that gasoline aftertaste alot of stronger vodkas tend to have. A large bottle sells for around 35 bucks.
