What is your favorite beer or cocktail?!

Question: I'm pretty basic on cocktails--Bloody Mary, Margarita, or a Cosmo.

For beer I like San Miguel Pale Pilsen. Esp. with a bacon cheeseburger.

But generally I like red wine or a medium Riesling more than cocktails or beer.

blue moon ,

Bailey's Irish Cream on the rocks.

Beer: Dutch Gold Cocktail: not really a cocktail but Jager-Bomb

my favorite cocktail is a mixture I made up myself- 99 bananas, malibu rum, pineapple juice, and a splash of grenadine. YUM! (and pretty strong!)

BUDWESIER

Pan Galactic Gargleblaster.

That or a Gin and Tonic with extra lime.

Westvleteren Abt 12. Why you ask... The smell contains sweet malts... honey... raisin... sour dough bread. The taste is orgasmic. Sweet, bready and malty with an after taste of raisin or fruit and spices. A wonderful Earthiness to it. And the mouthfeel is smooooth as a babies ars. Perfect carbonation level. Perfect consistency.

Cocktails I've been drinking lately:

Gin Rickey made with Tanqueray.
Manhattan with bitters made with bourbon.
Old Fashioned with muddled fruit made with bourbon.
Vodka Gimlet made with Grey Goose.

Some, but definitely not all , of my favorites. Sometimes changes with the seasons.

WOW! I could go on all night answering this!
I'll keep it simple. I am often asked what my favorite beer is. I always respond with a smile... the one I'm currently enjoying.
My favorite style is definitely IPAs. I am a huge hophead... the more bitter, the better!
Right now I am drinking a Sam Adams Grape Pale Ale from the newly released Longshot 2008 sixpack. This is my favorite for the next 20 minutes!
Favorite that I've brewed is a tie between Hoppy Halloween Pumpkin Pie IPA, and Nut King Cole Imperial Chestnut Porter.
Most amazing beer I've ever had, considering the rarity and the coolness of the experience: 2005 Sam Adams Utopias (world's strongest beer at 25.6%) in the private employee tasting room at Boston Beer Company's Jamaica Plain brewery in Boston!
I could go on all night...

As far as cocktails, I'd have to say a Classic Dry Martini.
2 parts Tanqueray No. 10
1 part dry vermouth
shaken with ice
strained into a cocktail glass
garnish w/ 3 olives

Sam Adams - Winter Lager
