Can super markets sell alcohol be 4 10am on a bank holiday?!

Question:

Can super markets sell alcohol be 4 10am on a bank holiday?

Answers:
If you are in the UK then sunday opening hours will apply so you won't be able to buy alcohol in a supermarket until 11am

yes i'm sure they can sell upto 11pm.

Why would you need to buy alcohol before 10 am just buy it the day before.......

Depends on what state you live in. In CA you can buy after 6 a.m. any day of the week regardless of holiday. In IA it was 6 a.m. except for Sundays when it was 8 a.m. States make up their own rules.

Depends where you are.. every state or sometimes county have different laws.

In Texas the rule is no hard liquor sales after 9pm. And no alcohol sales from 12:00am-12:00pm on Sundays and liquor stores are closed on Sundays.

Hope that helps. :o)

Yes, but most of them won't open til 10 anyway as they will be Sunday hours.

Suggest you stock up on Sunday, then you won't have to go out!!

In the UK yes since the sunday trading laws were relaxed.

yes as long as it is not a sunday

yes in the uk off sales are permitted 8am to 11pm from monday to saturday, as bank holidays are nearly always on a monday then it is allowed on easter monday. however good friday is a religious holiday so sunday hours will apply, these are 10am to 10.30pm.

sainsburys is 11am
