How long does alcohol stay in your system?!

Question:

How long does alcohol stay in your system?

they started a new random drug/alcohol testing program at my high school and now we are being told that if we drink Friday or Saturday it can still be detected in the test on Monday. its a urine test. so somehow i doubt thats true...if u drink enough of water wouldn't you pee it out by Monday? so what do u think? are they b*ullshiting us in order to scare us or is it actually true>

Answers:
Your Liver digests one drink an hour. One drink beeing 1 1/2 oz 80proof shot, one 12 0z beer or an 8 oz glass of wine.. So if you go out drinking on friday. just make sure you drink water and pee during the weekend.. As long as you are peeing clear when monday comes you will be fine..Now if you go out drinking sunday night come home late. Dont go to the bathroom when you get up..Then are selected for the random test...Then you would be screwed...

The length of time any drug (illicit or prescribed) stays in your system will vary. In large part, it depends on your physiological makeup. (IE: your age, height, weight, body mass index, stress levels and current state of health.

Alcohol generally can be detected from 1 hour to about 10-12 hours from the last time ingested.

if you were hungover it will be 3 days top
or 2 hours

I'm not even sure that's true. If it is though, it depends on how much you drink. I measure it by a drink per two hours just to be on the safe side. If I were in your school though, the best advise I can give is drink a lot of water. It'll do the trick.

wellllll...if yer not 21 yet you shouldn't be drinkin' so I'm glad their testing whether it stays in yer system or not!

sorry to sound like a stick up da butt
