Can anybody recommend me a beer?
I have recently discovered a few 'new' beers such as Desperados Tequila beer and Singha. Are there any other hidden gems I should know about?
I like dry beer, but also sweet and sometimes fruity beer.

If you can find it, Saranac has a lot of good beers.
They have some nice Trail Mixes.
They are a smaller brewer, but they make all sorts of different beers, from Lagers, to Ales, to special Summer fruity beers.
I take it they fall into the category of Lagers so probably not but try Theakston's Old Peculier, as it's the best beer in the world!
I'm a big fan of Old Speckled Hen

211 STEEL RESERVE.
If you want one you make your self, you could try Stinging Nettle beer. In Britain before the Romans came with hops they used to use Nettles. It's lovely on a hot day from the fridge.
I started brewing beer shortly after coming back from living in Germany for a year (1982). Mainly because few american beers were any good back then. The best beer I've ever had here in the United States is Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout. This is a dark beer but not heavily carmelized so not bitter or strong. Very smooth. Lightly hopped like a porter. The beer overall is sweet, smooth, and retains a great head, "ringing" the glass with every drink.
Another good bear is Guiness Draught. Not the ale or extra stout. The bear has a moderately light body, yet darkly colored without the heavy carmelized flavor. It goes down real smooth and fast. Surprisingly, the "carbs" are comparable to budweiser in case you are on the Atkins diet.
san miguel is an old spanish beer, can get it everywhere now.
I agree with the girl who said Lindeman's. The Framboise is raspberry and is sooo delicious. Strongbow cider, from England, is also yummy---it's crisp and really refreshing.
Sagres its Portuguese type lager
