Have you ever thrown a house party when you were in high school without your parents finding out?!

Question: still in highschool

its easy to get away with as long as you make sure to take out all the trash and open the windows to get out the smell
but people like to break things and steal stuff so that part sucks

we all left by then :P

No.They were always upstairs.

A lot of time's, It's easy to do.

Nope.. my parents never LEFT while we where in High School.

We DID have a week long summer party when I was in college (1984), but I ended up telling the parents... we'd ended up shampooing all the carpets, re-painting a wall, re-finishing a coffee and kitchen table, AND waxing the kitchen floor.

There was NO way they would miss the changes, so we admitted to it... DAD was upset because he had a no-party rule... MOM talked him out of punishing us.

Yes I did but I enlisted friends to do a pre party house check to hide and protect valuables. Then I had a cleanup crew of friends to help out the next day when we sobered up. I also made sure the noise level was low and had people get dropped off a block or two away so there was not a lot of traffic. keep everyone inside , neighbours will call police if they notice kids singing, swearing drinking etc outside where they can be heard. The polcie can arrive and have the right under most child welfare acts to determine who is in charge of the party , they can enter without a warrant if they believe a child is in danger ....like the 14 yr old drunk girl about to have sex for the first time. If they smell drugs and no sober adult person is present they can enter as minors are children and may be in danger. So the choice is yours , party quietly with a small group of select friends or have a blow out and the cops will come and then your parenst will know.
