Can geting high have an effect on someones driving?!

Question:

Can geting high have an effect on someones driving?

Answers:
Now, don't get me wrong, because I smoke pot all the time, but seriously, it does affect your driving. THC binds to cannabinoid receptors that are scattered throughout the brain, but mainly in the areas of pleasure, memory, thought concentration, space and time perception, and coordinated movement. If you leave out pleasure, those are the parts of the brain you use the most when driving. If you're going to get high... don't drive! Get a designated driver, or smoke at a friends house if you can't smoke at your own. Hope that helps!

Of Course!! The Exxon Valdez disaster was because of a high captain - Alaska is STILL recovering.

Getting 'high' means your mind is altered. What do you think?

Not only CAN but DOES!!!

certainly!!!! it can be worse than driving drunk.

yes! because you are in the car inhaling the same fumes.

Getting (with two t's) high also affects your spelling.

It can definitely have a bad influence on your driving.

Not if you believe those commercials where teenagers are seeing the ghosts of people they killed after getting high and driving.

getting high affects everything you do. i know someone who drives better when they're high. if you have doubts, please have a designated driver...
