Inexpensive wine for charoset?!

Question:

Inexpensive wine for charoset?

I am making charoset for the first time and was wondering what would be a good wine to use. Any suggestions?

Answers:
Our secret find in wine is FishEye. They have a really nice Pinot Grigio which costs about $6/bottle. They say that if it isn't good enough to drink, you shouldn't cook with it. We use this stuff for both.

Manischewitz wine anything made with concord grapes, or if you have access to North Carolina Wines, duplin wines or childress serindipity wines

red wine
