What's a cheap sweet red wine?!

Question:

What's a cheap sweet red wine?

That's pretty much it in the question. I only need a bit of it for a recipe but still I'd like to get a pretty good one. I live in So. California if that matters at all.

Answers:
Love My Goat Red from Bully Hill Winery. It's about $6 a bottle. It has a nice sweet taste and is very drinkable.

arbor mist, very tasty and fruity

Arobor Mist isn't a real wine, and it may throw off your entire recipe (Sorry Browneyes, I saw your other post and I still think you are 17.)
If it is for a sauce that you need to add some dimension to, you can always use YellowTail merlot. It is not the best wine, but it will do fine in a recipe and you can drink it too.

Try an inexpensive ruby port like Fonseca or Sandemans - both should be found at a reasonabley good sized local liquor store....maybe even at the grocery.

i have thrown Carlo Rossie sangria into spaghetti sauce when i was out of a red wine....worked great and really added flavor
