Beginner drinker.?!
Answers: I just turned 21 & begining to experience clubbing & drinking. I dont like beer / wine I prefure liquior. What are good mixed drinks out their that are some what strong. So far I really like AMF / sex on the beach & kamakosi. I just feel out of place when I go out & my friends know what they want (they order beer) & I dont. I need to mix it ^ & try different drinks. (I dont like girly drinks like martinies / cosmo's) I like my drinks too be a lil strong. What do you recomment?
I don't drink and probably never will, but I do have alittle knowledge on this subject! My dad isn't much of a drinker, but he likes to mix up different drinks and gives them silly names. Try mxing liquor, tequilla, and vodka together. It's kinda strong, even add alittle bit of beer in there if you want to. I don't have much experience with this, but I'll tell you what I know. Ever had a bloody mary? Add a splash of vodka & tequilla in there to spice it up a little bit. Hope I helped! :)
If you don't wanna try that, try the long island. If it's mixed right, it's really strong! If not, just ask the bartender to blend up something strong for you! :)

ask the bartender to mix you a special at each bar. this way you get to sample some really fun stuff. always have a designated drinker and never leave your drinks unattended.
Martini's aren't girly - they're straight alchohol. Order a dry Belvedere martini and see what you think of it - it'll make your hair curly.
- Long Island's will put you on your back. Drink w/ caution.
- White Russians are tasty and you get a pretty good bang for the buck.
- Cuba Libra is rum & coke w/ lime.
- There's nothing wrong w/ a glass of Weller (or Jack) on the rocks!
Yeah I agree, Long islands def are the best bang for the buck. Just ask first if they are premixed, cuz some are, and those are weak. Tell them to go light on the soda in it. Another good drink is a "Sweet Tart". Don't know whats in it, but its yummy and a few will get you where you want to be lol. But a good mixed shot is "Dirty Bong Water". Again, don't know whats in it, but it sure is good, like a grapey flavor. Also "Applesauce" is awesome, even though I hate real applesauce I devour these. Its like apple pucker, vodka, and goldschlager I believe. Try googling "mixed drink recipes" or "shot recipes" and you will find cool stuff.

If you're a beginning drinker, I would stay away from the Long Island Iced Tea simply because of the different amounts of liquor in it. If you choose to drink them anyways, have 1 or 2. They are alot stronger than they taste.
Also, whatever you start drinking, you should continue drinking for the night. Mixing different kids of alcohol will get you drunk faster.

I like simple drinks like scotch on the rocks, scotch and seven, rum and coke. I also like things like Pina Colada (nice and sweet).

I have a friend started driking when he was 21, it seems to be fun know what were the cool drinks and appeared interesrting because he knew everything about alcohol. Everything was so cool, parties, night clubs, music, fun, fun, fun. Well my friend had a hard time dettaching from alcoholhe is know 37 he has ruined his life and is about to ruins somebody's life. He had a car accident today and this is his second DUI, almost killed a family and he is still mad and denies all of this issues.
It used to be cool doesn't it, he never knew when everything was going to be out of control. He never planned on ******* up his life or his 4 kids life's either.

I really like fuzzy navels or white russians or even rum and coke. They're a good flavor (I hate beer too) but without being too girly and embarassing.
Don't drink Long Island Iced tea. I was sooooooooo ill after 1 of those. I'm Irish and i've been able to drink from 18yrs so thats saying something, lol !! Guinness is yuk. I like a nice Vodka & Cranberry Juice. Beautiful. I switch and change my drinks all the time. I'm more of a wine drinking girl though.
Jagerbombs. I prefer just straight Jager shots.. but Jagerbombs are good too.
