What is the strongest and best tasting brand of stout beer?!

Question:

What is the strongest and best tasting brand of stout beer?

I tried a stout for the first time and I think I found a new favorite type of beer.

Answers:
well there are literally hundreds of really good stouts. a strong stout would be considered an "imperial" stout. a few of my favorites include:
north coast old rasputin
victory storm king
bells expedition

you have to go to this site. it has TONS of info about all kinds of beer, and peoples ratings of the beers they have tried.

My personal fav: Guiness Extra Stout.

Russian imperial stouts are the strongest. They are also hard to find and are usually available during the winter months. Good luck finding them.

Back hand of God

Guinness, Guinness Extra Stout, Guinness Extra Cold and Guinness Foreign Stout...con't go wrong with Guinness

guiness extra stout or try chocolate guiness

North Coast Brewing had this limited edition Imperial Stout a few years ago. It was very strong, like 15%. The cost for a 4 pack was like $15. It was not cheap, but you didnt drink more than one at a time. It was very good, I highly recommend it if you can find it.

I think they do this limited edition every year, but I have not seen it since.

My favorite has always been an Oatmeal Stouts. They have a nice smooth flavor and do not have that coffee like after taste you find in say a Guinness. If you decide to try one go for a Young's or Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout; however, the Young's tastes a bit better and if you get it in a big can it is self carbonated and taste like a fresh tap beer. Both should be readily accessible at you local beverage warehouse.

Iron Knuckle Stout.

I am not a stout drinker. One of my bfs is, and he prefers D&M's Jamaican stout over Guinness and the supposedly wonderful McAuslan's.
