Question:

Jello shots?? I am confused..need some feed back!!!?

I am having a party tomorrow night an I need to know how to make jello shots. I dont want to use vodka, I am usin bacardi. so if any one knows how to make them..let me know. I know you have to substitute the alcohol w/ the water..i am confused.

Answers:
1 package or sugar free jello any flavor

2 Cups boiling water
2 Cups alcohol your choice

How To Prepare: To make Fancy Jello Shots, put the alcohol in the freezer ahead of time to let it get nice and cold. Make the jello as directed on the package using the boiling water, etc. Substitute the chilled alcohol for the cold water in the recipe. Use different
flavors and alcohols to create drinks with the jello-shots. Lime jello & tequila(Margarita), orange jello and vodka(Screwdriver), strawberry jello and rum(Daquiri),etc...Hint use 2oz. plastic souffle cups to make the jello shots in(available at any party
store cheap). They work best. For easier serving place them on a tray in the fridge. Bring out when ready to serve.

Number of Servings: 10

substitue 3/4 cup of vodka for 1 cup of water. Do the hot water first, then the vodka.

When I make jello shots If the box of jello calls for 2 cups of water I would 1 cup of water to 1 cup of alchol. Hope this helps you have a great time at your party!

You sub whatever alcohol for the cold water. Otherwise just follow the package directions.

Careful- those puppies are lethal, you never know it until you try to stand up...................

you substitute the water foe the liquor then pour into little shotglasses then refrigerate

you can subsitute the water with alcohol and make them jigglers if you have that recipe. and vodka works best because it has little flavor. if the package doesnt have a jiggler recipe make a test batch today and see if you can make it with all alcohol or if you think you need to sub some water in.

1 6-ounce package of gelatin (flavored or unflavored -- you decide)
16 ounces (2 cups) boiling water
6 ounces cold water
10 ounces 80-proof Alcohol or whatever you want

once its all mixed in add them to small plastic cups or whatever you want. Plastic is best and dont fill them to the top just a shots worth. Hence the name

This is the way for vodka, you're going to have to do some maths for this:

Look at the box and note the TOTAL amount of water needed. Half that. One half is boiling water to be added to the jelly mixture. The other half is vodka. This will set almost to the consistency of real jelly. However, jello shots are a little more runny than normal jelly. I havn't experimented with this but perhaps 70% vodka and 30% water might do it.

If you're using Bacardi it's got a lower alcohol content than vodka, so you want at LEAST 70% alcohol and 30% boiling water, but it might not be as runny. Vodka jelly is great for parties to have with a spoon, but if you try chilling it in shot glasses you have a messy time getting it out of the shot glass unless it is runnier than real jelly.

Mix an match the alcohol and water. For instance, if the recipe (on the jello box) calls for 1 cup of water, then use 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup alcohol. JUST DONT BOIL THE ALCOHOL. You will cook out the alcohol and possiibly catch your kitchen on fire!

The more alcohol you use, the stronger it will be...the more water, the weaker.

Substitute the vodka or rum for the COLD water, but not the hot.

use half alcohol and half water. I always make the watermelon ones. My friends love them

If the package of jello requires 2 cups of water. Add the first cup like it says (boiling hot) -just pop water in the micro for a couple of minutes. Mix the jello mix with the hot water. Stir for about 5 minutes, or until the mixture is comepletly dissolved. Then add the cup of liquor(instead of cold water) then stir again. Pour in little cups and place in the fridge give a couple hours to thicken-enjoy

put your alcohol in the freezer (i like to use malibu rum, it goes great with nearly any flavor of jello)

follow the instructions, but replace the cold water with the cold alcohol. before you add the booze, let the jello mix cool quite a bit (you don't want your alcohol to evaporate!)

pour into cups. I like to use the condiment cups (you can get the matching lids!) from smart and final. or you could just go take some from baja fresh. I recommend buying them though, you'll end up using them for everything.

you'll use about 8 2 oz condiment cups for a small box of jello.

If you don't want them to be too strong:
to 1 package of jello
add 1 cup hot water
stir till dissolved
add 1/2 cup liquor of choice
add 1/2 cup sprite
stir and pour into small disposable cups
refrigerate till firm
enjoy! these are so good they are dangerous!

I don't know how to tell how to make em but I do so love them Jello shooters are fun
