Which beer is better?!

Question: Ok... my roommate is not believing the results of polls that I conduct on here to prove him wrong (works every time hehe) and blames it on lack of intelligence of most people on here so he wants to know an answer to this question...:

which beer is better... Bud Light or Heineken?

hands down Heineken.

unless your a redneck you'll choose bud light over a heine.

why would you choose watered down beer over quality, and great tasting beer.

don't get me wrong, I will drink bud, but if I had a choice....Heineken for SURE.

mmmmmm good.

Heinie, hands down.

Heineken!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont like the taste of heineken but tis a much better beer that bud water er light

heineken is respectable, bud light is terrible, there is a reason heineken is exported all over the world and bud is not, well at least not to big beer drinking countries

Heineken taste like Red Horse...!

H.

neither Guinness

My opinion is drink what you like! Both beers are decent beers. Neither are " watered down", or are " for rednecks". Both have relatively the same amount of alc., they are both lagers( although Heineken says its a Pilsener, it's not, it originated in Amsterdam). Don't get me wrong folks, I don't have either of these at home......My restaurant serves both- but think of this, is the money worth it to get basically the same beer for the foreign price..... I'd rather have a Jack on the rocks, a Sierra Nevada, or a Abita Springs any day

Neither.

I dont drink.

They are both mass-produced, megabrewery beers and neither is very good. But if I HAD to choose, Heineken has a little more flavor than Bud.

They are both essentially the same beer. They are both pale lagers, supposedly (theough not really) brewed in the Pilsener-style.
They are both mass-produced macro-beers, mediocre at best. Budweiser and Heineken are both available in every country on every continent (except Antarctica... penguins have better taste) and both are pretty much the same.
Bud uses rice as an adjunct, which imparts a sickly-sweet aftertaste, while Heineken is lightstruck when in green bottles (that's what gives it the skunky aroma/flavor - chemical reation, yadda-yadda-yadda).
They both contain a TON of preservatives, including, but not limited to formaldehyde (you know, embalming fluid!).
I wouldn't drink either, unless I could have Heineken in the can or on draught... at least I can stomach it then. But that's only if every other beer on the planet is nonexistent!

ps... They are both watered down... it's part of the brewing process many macro-brewers use to dull the flavor of the beer, making it more homogenous for a larger audience.

If the Heineken is draught or in a can, I would go with Heineken. If it is in bottles, I won't drink it.

You are not serious? Heine if I must choose but it is much of a muchness with these choices!
