How much does a bottle of sambuka or tequila make in a bar in London?!

Question:

How much does a bottle of sambuka or tequila make in a bar in London?

how many shots do you get out of a bottle and how much does a bar make on it?Just roughly?

Answers:
normal full bottle is 70cl, that would contain 28 shots at 25ml each, assuming each one is £2.20, then it would cost £61.60, deduct the retail price of £15.99 that leaves £45.61 as profit for the bar.

We tried to buy a bottle of vodka from a pub once,it was closing time, and we hadn't finished. They were gonna charge £50,cos that's what they'd of made from it.

Think of it like this:

A 750ml bottle of booze (lets say tequila) contains roughly 26 1 1/4 oz shots.
A Liter bottle contains about 33.
(excuse my conversions, I'm in the states) A liter bottle of Jose Cuervo Tequila goes for about 19.36 euro at cost. So that would be about .59 euro a shot.
Now take what they are charging for a shot (probably around 3.75 euro each), and subtract the .59 from it. Now you have your profit margin, which in this case, is 3.16 euro a shot.
Finally, multiply your profit margin per shot by your shots in a bottle (33) to get your profit margin per bottle. (104.28 euro per bottle)

Amazing, huh? You can apply that formula to find out how much a bar can make on any bottle of liquor, you just need the size of the bottle, cost per shot, and cost per bottle from the bar.

If you really want a shock, apply that to wine. Cheers!

I couldn't tell you how much each bottle will make but, if you get a lot of people started, you better have lots on hand because they will not stop.
