a nice like $100 type

Scotch whiskey. Laphroaig for a single-malt or Johnnie Walker Black Label for blended.

go for champagne... very celebratory!!! korbel is reasonably priced and nice...
ps... make sure you wont get in trouble bring it on school grounds!!!

A merlot wine.

Suggestion, ask him/her what they like to drink first. The reason I state this is that some people are allergic to alcohol. If they are allergic the pick them up a nice bottle of Sparkling Grape/Apple/Peach Juice.

If they are not allergic, and they tell you they like Wine (type), Beer, or some other hard liquor such as scotch, whiskey, or tequilla, then come back and ask another question focused on your teacher's particular answer. This way you will be a smash and this teacher will "always" recall what you did!

Congratulations on your forthcoming graduation!

A couple 30 packs of naughty Ice Should do. haha

Most syllabuses have the home number of your professor. Call when you know they are at school and ask their significant other for a suggestion. I'm assuming that if you have a proffessor you would buy a $100 bottle of hootch for they would be ok with you calling their home for advice, but maybe not.

single malt whisky

Wine Red wine buy Robert Mondavi Private Reserve Cabernet about 120 a bottle. White wine-Far Niente Chardonnay

Liquor Vodka grey Goose
Tequila-Conquistador
Scotch-Chivas Regal 50 year old

a bottle of gold lable vodka that always goes down a treat
