New Orleans Hand Grenade???!

Question: We went to New Orleans about six months ago for a little vacation. We were drinking hand grenades, quite a strong drink, but I was wondering if anybody knew how to make it, or came close to making the real thing. Nobody in New Orleans will tell you how to make it because it is suppose to be top secret!! Figured I would ask if anyone knew how to make it!

Been there . . . drank those . . . woke up the next morning with a smile. I've looked for the recipe myself. Below is the best I've found/tasted outside of the originals:

Ingredients to use:
1.5 oz Gin
1.5 oz Grain Alcohol
1.5 oz Melon liqueur
1.5 oz Rum
1.5 oz Vodka

Directions:
Mix together with crushed ice in a glass and garnish with mint leaves.

Good luck and enjoy!
