Has anyone smoked Djarum Black before? I heard it contains less additives and is healthier.?!

Question: I remember my friend gave me a dark cigarette which he called clove, and God, it tasted like heaven. My lips tasted so sweet after I smoked it. I heard it has more natural tobacco and less chemical additives. Is that right?

They are much worse than tobacco cigs, actually. They contain a TON of presevatives and artificial chemical flavorings and bonding agents.
Not to mention the awful smell. Cigs smell like sh*t, but those damn cloves just linger.
If you want a more natural cigarette with no additives, try Nat Shermans - you can get them at tobacconists (real smoke shops, not the gas station).
Though I would recommend quality, hand-rolled cigars. CAO, Punch, Fuente, etc.
I smoke also, which is unfortunate, but obviously the best thing to do is kick cigarettes as a whole.

By the way, people will also think you're a dirty hippie if you smoke those cloves. No one wants that...

Cheers!

I don't know if that's correct, but I do agree with you that they are tasty! (Thanks... now I want one...)

actually cloves are worse for you depending on where it is made... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kretek#Heal... .. but i reallllyyy do love the taste.. omg i love that sauce lol

People still smoke these? They were big in the early-to-mid 80s. I tried a few in '83, and didn't like them. I went back to my tobacco brand. I'm not surprised they made a comeback, with today's kids always wanting a way out.

Clove cigarettes are NOT like a standard cigarette. They are shredded clove buds (this is why they smell like the spice) and tobacco. Dude, nothing about these things is healthy, just like a cigarette. If you want to smoke them, your choice, but they're probably worse than cigarettes.

Read this about them.
