Sangria is your answer. You can float slices of lemons, limes, apples, strawberries, etc in it to make it extra festive. Here are some great Sangria recipes that Ihave used before. The Hawaiian Punch and Olive Garden Recipes are my favorites:

Olive Garden Sangria

1 1/2 liters red table wine (I used Lambrusco)
1 cup grenadine
2 cups cranberry juice cocktail
1 1/4 cups sweet vermouth
sugar water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water (half sugar, half water)
strawberries, cut into thirds
oranges, slice thin,then quartered
crushed ice

This makes a gallon.
Mix all the ingredients (i used a plastic ice cream bucket), except for ice.
Let sit in refrigerator atleast 4-5 hours, if not overnight.
Pour sangria into serving glass, fruit and all, then add ice.

Hawaiian Punch Sangria

1 bottle Burgundy (your choice of brand/vintage)
1 bottle Rose
1 can Pineapple Juice
1 can Hawaiian Punch
Lots of chopped fruit (apples, oranges, lemons, limes and berries)...
Whatever wine you choose is up to you. The inexpensive stuff seems to do the trick, but if you like fancy wine, you'll have a fancier sangria! I really don't know exact measurements, so aim for the final pitcher to be comprised of about half wine, half juice. If you are making Sangria for a big party, double the recipe for each pitcher, (or you can get away with adding another 1/2 bottle of wine and 2 tbs. sugar to this recipe for an additional 3 servings).

Make sure you use a high quality pineapple juice like Dole or del Monte. The cheaper store brands often taste bitter. And how about the Hawaiian Punch, huh? Don't knock it till you've tried it. You can either spend all day concocting the right balance of mango, passion fruits, etc...with sweetener, or, just grab the good ole trusty can and call it a day!

Mix all 4 liquid ingredients together first and then add the fruit. The berries are a pretty touch if you are serving in stemmed glassware, so don't forget that presentation is part of it! Cut the apples, lemons and limes into thin wedges. The same goes for the oranges, but remove the membranes first.

mai tais and blue hawaiis

Look up a recipe for Jungle Juice.

Its basically you just putting a bunch of sliced fruit in a cooler then filling it up with vodka, rum, and gin. Really messes you up. Make sure you let it sit for a long time before serving. Oh and add Ice also.

Coconut flavored rum, pineapple juice, midori, and lemon lime soda

Sip And Go Naked Punch!

I served this at my friends party, you get drunk without even knowing it. Doesn't sound so good, but all you taste is the lemonaid.

1 Bottle of Vodka
1 six pack of any beer
2 Frozen Pink Lemonaid
Put in a punch bowl and serve.

Try this just add alcohol as you see fit

3 cups warm water
2 cups sugar
3 ripe bananas, sliced
1 (46 fluid ounce) can pineapple juice
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 liters ginger ale, chilled
DIRECTIONS
In a blender or food processor, blend the water, sugar and bananas until smooth. Pour into a large container. Add pineapple juice, orange juice and lemon juice; mix well. Freeze, stirring occasionally, until slushy. Add ginger ale when ready to serve

Equal parts Hawaiian punch drink, pineapple juice, and lemon-lime soda. Squeeze in a couple of fresh limes. It's so refreshing and good. Then mix in coconut flavored rum to your liking. As much or little as you like.

Sherbet ice cream or whatever... sierra mist, and some UV or something... Never tried it as an alcoholic drink, but otherwise it tastes awesome.

1 cup Raspberry cordial,
1/2 cup Lime juice,
1/2 bottle of Amaretto,
1/2 bottle of Jack Daniels,
1 bottle of Vodka

Mix this, and add 3 J20s to the bowl.

Perfect, and very tropical, so it should fit in greatly with your Hawiian theme.

I hope you have a fantastic day and best wishes for the future,
Andy :-)

We did a margarita fountain...it was a huge hit!

Just margarita mixer and tequilla in a small champagne/punch fountain and we laid out ice, lime wedges, a lime juice glass wetter sponge, and salt for the rims

(46 ounce) can pineapple juice, chilled
1 (6 ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
1 1/2 cups rum
1 (1 liter) bottle club soda, chilled
1 dash Angostura bitters
Mix together pineapple juice, limeade concentrate, and rum in a non-metallic pitcher or punchbowl, stir well.
Just before serving, gently pour in club soda and angostura bitters and mix in.
Garnish with lime wedges, or other fruit, if desired.
Serve over ice or add an ice ring to the punchbowl.

If you really want to have a great time... take any of these recipes... ANY of them, and instead of the liquor they recommend, go to a neighborhood liquor store and pick up a bottle of spirytus rektyfikowany and substitute it. It will run you between $12.99 and $16.99 for a bottle and there isn't anything better for an alcoholic punch than this

First of all, I would try to keep the punch as clear as possible! I say this because the number one mistake people make with wedding food and drink is to have it colored (like bright red, or blue). I would try and to make something with Fresca or Sprite, vodka (or another clear liquor) and perhaps pineapple juice and other lightly colored fruit juices. I would hate to see someone spill a red punch on your beautiful dress and ruin it!

What is this thing about drinking and celebrating the most wonderful choice/event in your life.

THROW OUT THE BOOZE BIOCH!

Next thing you know one of your friends is dead and mangled in a car wreck on the way home. HA.. funny.. lose your entire wedding party.
Stupid drinking idiots.. you make the world an aweful place for children.. SCREW YOU!

Oh and congrats on the engagement. Hope your hubby doesnt get drunk and impale himself on the steering wheel.. that would be terrible.... unless you GOT RID OF THE BOOZE!!!!

Fruit Punch
Serves/Makes: 28

48 ounces cranberry-raspberry drink (Ocean Spray is good)
1 can (12 ounce) frozen pineapple/orange/ guava juice concentrate, thawed
1 liter gingerale, chilled
1 bottle champagne, chilled (non alcoholic champagne is fine)

Directions:

If you can't find that pineapple juice combination, just buy pineapple/orange, then look for the tropical juices in the ethnic section or the juice section of the market

Make sure all ingredients are well chilled. Mix all the juices and keep refrigerated until ready to serve. Pour the mixed juice into a punch bowl then slowly add the gingerale and champagne, stir gently to blend. An ice ring with fruit or ice cubes with fruit is pretty. If making and ice ring or ice cubes, use fruit juice instead of water-this will keep the punch cold and will not get watered down by the melting ice.

Serving size: 1/2 cup

Donkey Punch
