How do you do a shot?!
Answers: I've tried a million times, with different types of drinks (even NA) and can't do it. Any tips? I just end up taking a big gulp instead of 'opening my throat' up...
You're probably touting your mouth (i.e. not opening it fully because it tastes bad, like with your lips pursed), because you are afraid to taste how bad the liquor is- which is ok! That was my problem too. The "open your throat" advice is best, but try dumping the whole thing in your mouth without pursing, which will not even allow your mouth to hold the whole shot. However, don't let it swish around or that'll make you gag. Focus your mind on getting all in, and start swallowing in a big gulp as soon as possible.

before you do it relax your thoat. lean your head back and dont make your tounge stiff. your not chugging beer.
