How long to lower your tolerace to alcohol if you stop drinking?!

Question: I know it's all about time...but how much?

If you have been increasing the amount you drink for 4 months, then stop, how long does it take to bring your tolerance levels back to where they would be if you only drank a couple times a month?

I stopped drinking 100% 4 days ago and feel ok...but I don't want to drink socially till my tolerance has fallen back to where it was before... A strong buz with 2 beers....not 4 like it got to be.

From my experience with alchohol, after 30 days I drank and felt wasted of 2 drinks. I would say 30 days for your body to detox from binge drinking.

A month or a month and a half of NO drinking should produce the desired effect.

Dude I stopped drinking for a few months and I only got a good buzz after like 8 beers. but that's just my body. and hey a tolerance is good, put bets on who can drink the most and win everytime, unless your too young. In that case shame on you

I am an alcoholic. Your buzz AND HANGOVER will be exactly the same, as if you never stopped. It's called "progressive"

NEVER stop drinking...just drink stronger stuff...

I agree with "Math Blows", with the exception that it might take a day or two of drinking (no more) to get right back where you were.
