No antabuse is good. it works where will power stops! there is no way anyone can be on antabuse and still drink. if he doesnt take the tablets, there is an antabuse implant done in Nasik, which will stop him drinking for upto 4 years!
There's Antabuse, but it has to be prescribed by a doctor. Your friend won't quit unless HE wants to.
yes take him to a clinic for alcoholics and let him see how the suffer when their liver is gone and i promised you he most definitely stop!!!!!!!!!
AA meetings and a lot of them.
he needs to go to rehab, or start taking some AA classes, stick with him and be there for what ever he need you help with. you are a very good friend to be so concerned he is lucky to have a friend that cares like you =-)
I had a problem with alcohol and the only thing that will make him stop is his willingness to want to stop. If he truly wants to stop and has tried cold turkeying it and it didn't work he should see his Doc. I was prescribed Wellbutrin almost 7 years ago and for me it worked. But I wanted to stop and that just gave me the push I needed. Your a good friend to see your friend needs help. Just be there to support him.
