Whats it called when bar staff muck around with the glasses?!

Question:

Whats it called when bar staff muck around with the glasses?

When they like, spin them round on their hand and flip them behind their backs etc. Just wondering so that I can watch a few videos of the best of them or something

Answers:
Flair bartending. in some areas, you can take a class on how to do this. and they hold competitions in Las Vegas!

flair

Flair. Something incompetent bartenders do to hide the fact that they don't know what else to do. If a bartender has the time to juggle bottles and glasses, they don't know what they should be doing with every little second.

Time to lean, time to clean.

I've seen bartenders doing this run out of clean glasses and look like a fool when asked for a drink while the bartender who stands in the background cleaning glasses always has enough for the busiest of busy nights.

To me, an owner of three busy bars, showing off is basis for dismissal.

Gay!

Nah, it's called "Flair"...it was popularized in the gripping movie "Cocktail" (1988) starring Tom Cruise...in the good ol' days when He was embarrassing himself in the movies, not bouncing up and down on couches.

Visit the website below for all the "fruity" details: http://www.barflair.org

Wasting time I need a drink and I need it now.
