Is home distilling illegal in texas?!

Question:

Is home distilling illegal in texas?

Answers:
Yes...distilling (not brewing) in one's home is illegal in all 50 states, without exception. Home brewing is perfectly legal, up to 100 gallons per adult over 21 in the household.
Distilling is legal only with a permit, and in the requirements for getting a permit, it states very specifically that it cannot be done in or adjacent to a residence (backyard included).

No. Home Brewing is perfectly legal. Selling what you come up with is another story. Don't do it.

Is anything illegal in Texas? That's why I LOVE Texas.
