How old do you have to be to drink alcohol in your own home?!

Question:

How old do you have to be to drink alcohol in your own home?

My boyfriend and I live together in an apartment, and I turn 21 next year. His parent's will buy us alcohol.....so am I able to consume it in my home providing I do not have other people who do not live with me drinking it?

Answers:
Well you should be 21,but who the hell waits till then to have some drinks?!If you and your man are able to drink and not cause problems then enjoy yourselves!!Just don't be stupid and leave your home,or fight w/ each other or anything that would have the cops involved!!

no, 21

It doesn't matter your location, it's illegal to drink alcohol under 21

Don't drink !
Just one more year to go !
And you will have it next year !

It's 21, becareful not to do anything crazy when you drink b/c whoever supplied the alcohol will be in trouble too.

i'd just wait until next year . . . personally.

What the hell? If you're old enough to live with your boyfriend, you should be old enough to have a cocktail with your gals. Is your boyfriend keeping you from drinking with your girlfriends? That's not right. Drink responsibly but enjoy with the girls.

not legally

doesn't matter....you still ahve to be 21

At home its been since I was about 17, a glass or something, but Im from Canada and the legal age is 18. But I first drank when I was 14.

Well it all depends on where you live. If you're in the USA then technically yes that is illegal, but WHO is going to stop you, yeah nobody, so do it anyway... and then in a year you can drink at the bars too!

Regardless of who buys you beer or alchoholic beverages you still need to be 21 to drink. People who buy alchohol for minors (those under 21) can be fined or go to jail.

You have to be 21 no exceptions

Who cares what the law says....do what you want to do babe! The law would rather have you booze in your home than out at a bar akin' a foo.
